Also, did anyone else know Sotomayor has type one diabetes? The love grows :)
Yes! Her memoir was amazing.
I've read parts of it before but it's definitely on my 0L summer reading list.
I read it last summer! So wonderful. I'm curious about the new book about Sandra Day O'Connor and RBG.

Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, recommended by Barls. I've been trying to read more books by people of color and women this year, rather than all white dudes.

Read that this summer, definitely enjoyed it! Also, just finished Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton (because I'm obsessed with the Hamilton musical) and am debating whether my next read should be Bad Feminist (I know, I'm late to the party, I know) by Roxane Gay, The Gay Revolution by Lillian Faderman, or going back to fiction for a bit...if anyone has any thoughts/recommendations I'd love to hear them!

Aside from my daily overdose of picture books, I just finished "We Were Liars." I picked up "Flowers for Algernon" today.

I'm read TLS and YA. Hmmm.

I do the same.
I'm calling it now: I'm going to be that 80-year-old who still browses the young adult section at your local library.

How was "We Were Liars"? I really loved The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks!

I'm only semi-ashamed to admit that I'm in a YA bookclub...

"We Were Liars" is awesome. My Vandy interviewer recommended it to me.

Someone please start a TLS book club!

Kafka on the Shore is excellent! I was reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and not enjoying it, so I switched to I Am Malala, which I have to will myself to put down at night.
