I read it last summer! So wonderful. I'm curious about the new book about Sandra Day O'Connor and RBG.schocolate wrote:I've read parts of it before but it's definitely on my 0L summer reading list.salander wrote:Yes! Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, recommended by Barls. I've been trying to read more books by people of color and women this year, rather than all white dudes.schocolate wrote:What is everyone reading now?

Read that this summer, definitely enjoyed it! Also, just finished Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton (because I'm obsessed with the Hamilton musical) and am debating whether my next read should be Bad Feminist (I know, I'm late to the party, I know) by Roxane Gay, The Gay Revolution by Lillian Faderman, or going back to fiction for a bit...if anyone has any thoughts/recommendations I'd love to hear them!slippin_jimmy wrote:Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, recommended by Barls. Kafka on the Shore is excellent! I was reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and not enjoying it, so I switched to I Am Malala, which I have to will myself to put down at night.cheesy143 wrote:That's my next book to read!
