The thing is, I'm trying to buy my flight ticket asap because I'm trying to fly to the bay area with some family. Any idea on how they might assist with paying for the travel expenses? I don't know if they are just going to reimburse or if they have their own channels to go through for buying the tickets.

In! Just got an email, no phone call. I'm a traditional splitter so I wasn't expecting anything. Pretty shocked. I went UR on 12/9.

Mine just says to go to the Financial Aid office to take a look at scholarship programs.

the berkeley e-mail mentions that they would help off-set the cost of travel to their admitted students shindig -- is anyone aware of what they are exactly offering?
