Aloha! Yes, the scores came out tonight and may still be in the process of being released. I got mine a few hours ago. Definitely a rush seeing as we were "optimistically' hoping for scores to be released tomorrow.strongbadge wrote:Welcome! Georgetown is my top choice (SO is currently attending their Med School). For those who were recently accepted or have experience applying, how have you handled/plan to handle negotiating for aid? Georgetown is obviously stingy... but, what steps will you be taking this cycle?
Also, what scores do you think would be the minimum for getting some form of financial
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thank you. Would only other T14 schools work in your opinion?urbanist11 wrote:Apply broadly so you have options to negotiate.rkillian0830 wrote:First post on TLS... been lurking since the October LSAT. So, first and foremost, hello.

Heard yesterday... got in! Second choice, so very excited. I applied two and a half weeks ago if anyone is curious how long they typically take once acceptances start coming out.

Does anyone know if they hold decisions on your regular app if you applied for PILS but your separate LOR isn't in yet?

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
From what I've read it seems Georgetown gives aid to about 40%, maybe even less. Therefore, only the top 40% get any sort of aid, so even if your numbers put you at the median, I wouldn't expect much if anything, assuming they give aid based on numbers entirely.rkillian0830 wrote:First post on TLS... been lurking since the October LSAT. Got deferred to regular admission. It's what I expected/hoped for, and hey, I wasn't waitlisted or rejected (yet)! So I'm happy for now. I suppose it's time to send them a nice letter?

When do we think the next wave of acceptances will be?
I applied RD Sep 25, had my group interview oct 9 and haven't gotten any news, good or bad

I applied to PILS but already received my admission. I don't think I'm competitive for PILS so either the decisions are made completely separately or they already decided I'm a no on PILS and sent out my regular acceptance anyway (though, since they didn't mention anything about PILS, and PILS was submitted differently, I'd bet it's the former).blue2016 wrote:Does anyone know if they hold decisions on your regular app if you applied for PILS but your separate LOR isn't in yet?
