NYU goes from complete to UR quickly. You may not have the same number of UR dates. It appears there is a slight pattern to the UR changes (those who submitted on the 20th then have the 23rd, 29th, and 1st, before DLS on the 10th, etc) but not significant.

That seems like a pretty quick progression. I'm guessing this time-frame isn't relevant this early in the cycle?

And cold.
Cold isn't a thing for me. I mean, if I get to go to school somewhere warm, that's a bonus.

I honestly would be able to suck it up for NYU. But I would much prefer the warm. I would also prefer as far South as I could get due to sunlight, day length, etc. But again, I'd suck it up for NYU.

COL, size, and (tied to COL) the fact that my apartment would probably be tiny and not very nice and meh.

Cold is also a factor - it's not any colder than where I live now, but I would love to have a break of somewhere warmer for a few years.
