Not at all, it usually takes a few hours if not until the end of the day. Also check out what Admissions Rep said to me about deferral!niner999 wrote:DLS with no ASW access. Deferred or rejected, right

It definitely could take until close of business today or even tomorrow for your access to be enabled. Don't draw any conclusions at least until this time tomorrow.niner999 wrote:DLS with no ASW access. Deferred or rejected, right

Phone call. Last week they started the following day after DLS. The letter comes via USPS several days later.niner999 wrote:When do they notify you, and in what form, after DLS ?

I think that it's relatively common to have systems that refresh themselves overnight. I wouldn't be surprised if access didn't come until tomorrow.

Previous wave seems to say DLS and ASW came concurrently. anyone have any experience with this

Also check out the NYU mylsn chart: http://mylsn.info/r/pre-law/timeline/chart/
I am doubtful that this is the year NYU decides to start handing out rejections in December.

FWIW I can access the site just fine from a computer, but I am unable to access it via mobile. I have never been able to access via mobile, but I only started checking with first DLS wave.xylocarp wrote:site's down for me too

I can only access it in one browser, but I suspect this is a cache. I can't in any others.littlepuff wrote:Hmm... is anyone else still having trouble accessing the status checker?

Re: NYU c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
I wish that were the case for me! the site hasn't been working for me on mobile since the first reported DLS today, and it's not working for me now on a desktop. I've even tried multiple browsers hahayot11 wrote:FWIW I can access the site just fine from a computer, but I am unable to access it via mobile. The status checker link points to a shortened URL created via bit.do, a link shortening service that appears to be down right now (http://bit.do/), so that may be the issue, rather than any issue on NYU's end.

Re: NYU c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
If we are able to access the status checker (I can...) and have no change, are we to assume we weren't part of today's wave?
Do they usually come out in batches or all at once?
Thanks

Are you serious ? So ed with Dls likely indicates acceptance ?lexsi340 wrote:From Admissions Rep to ED'ers: If we were deferred to RD and we have DLS now we would have received an email already. Of course, could be a straight out denials, but based on last year's thread I think that is unlikely. Even the incredibly low numbers (lower than mine and non-URM) were deferred and denied much later.
Told me she couldn't disclose via phone but that mailings are going out now.
Never thought I would be this person that calls the school... applying to law school has created a neurotic monster.

I'm curious about this as well. I have had no problems logging into the status checker during both waves (only on my desktop though).fireflies wrote:If we are able to access the status checker (I can...) and have no change, are we to assume we weren't part of today's wave?

Last wave def came in batches because I checked when someone posted the first DLS and then again later and my status had switched.shamallama wrote:I'm curious about this as well.
