In today postmarked 11/12. No interview submitted 10/27 and went complete within a week after that.

I don't believe that they will start sending out aid offers until February or March. They wait until after FAFSA/Need Access are filled out, and then you have to fill out one of their applications in February I believe. The site below says to check back in January for information about this application cycle, but it is helpful nonetheless!

What is the consensus on letters of continued interest after being deferred to the regular applicant pool?

Also stats on those admitted from that?

Spivey answered this on his thread - April 11, 2014 so you can browse for the exact post. He said it is quite appropriate to send one for ED deferrals.

No idea on success rate, but as long as you don't overly annoy the admission officers, then it certainly won't harm your prospects. Good luck!

There is no difference between deferred and held. I did a check of previous threads and many of those deferred were not admitted.

I'm curious, are all deferred applicants genuinely borderline candidates? Or are they candidates with strong softs GULC is interested in but are unsure about because they want to wait and see if they would hurt their medians?
Good question, I've been wondering the same thing. Another scenario could be that they have numbers that fall within range but don't have any interesting softs, worthwhile w/e, or diversity.
