I think it depends on who interviews you. I'm a super splitter and they didn't ask me about it (granted, I wrote an addendum). All they asked me was "Why Law?" I'm also a splitter and I didn't get any questions about it. We talked for maybe five minutes before she told me they were going to accept me, and then I got the email the next day. Yes. We talked more about the weather than anything in my 25 min. interview (way longer than what's being reported, but mine was in person. Maybe 5 minutes weather, 5 minutes STL, 5 minute traditional interview, and 10 minutes of my questions about the school).monsterman wrote:but it was super chill.
Mine wasn't very long I think it was around 15 minutes. I'm interested in immigration law, and WUSTL's main immlaw professors just got back from a two year stint as lead counsel for USCIS, so I asked about him and the classes that he taught and it made a big impression on my interviewer. I can't remember if she told me that she was admitting me before or after I asked that question, but she said she thought about him as soon as I mentioned my immlaw interest/experience, and had put him down as the faculty member to contact me.
