Do most people have a status date on their status checker page? Just realized my UVA SC doesn't have one.

I applied RD and received a confirmation email with my status check login info on September 15th. My LSAT is above UVA's 75th and just below the median. I haven't been awarded an interview and my status check doesn't look like its been updated since September. Is anyone else that applied in early September still in limbo?

Ditto everything in this post, except my GPA is a bit lower (but above 25th), and I went complete a bit later. I've had no change since September. Radio silence.

Mine doesn't appear to have been touched since I went complete, either. They don't seem big on the status checker at UVA, though. My LSAT/GPA are both in the mid-ranges, but lower-end.

No, UVA isn't big on the status checker, I think they prefer a more 'personal' touch. Haha

Might have totally missed it, but any interview advice? What kind of stuff do they ask? What should I be ready to say, that kind of stuff?

For me, it was incredibly laid back. I honestly did not prepare at all, and felt totally comfortable. Jason will just talk about a couple of lines on your resume/application/PS, and ask you if you have any questions. I really felt like it was more of a pitch for UVA than anything else.

Yes, know why you want to go to the school (specific reasons), and if you have any academic research or papers listed on your resume or in your application make sure you're ready to discuss them.

A few have been offered interviews a couple weeks after complete status, but many have taken 4 weeks or more to hear back. HTH.

I think there will be a lot of action in December. This year they have a large incentive to see what their list of admits looks like, because they will be awarding scholarships starting in mid-January. So, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a lot of movement in the weeks to come. Best of luck to all of you.

Is UVA your top choice? If indeed it's YP, they are interviewing more now instead of WLing like they have in previous cycles, so it's a little confusing if you do have YP stats. PM me I'd be interested to hear more about your app.
