People have ED'd with higher numbers. Also, as has been mentioned, if your family is poor, you'll get some aid; if they aren't, you would get much RD anyway.
Congrats on your acceptance! See you in the fall

After submitting my Columbia app, I finally understand what it means to be obsessed with the status checker.

Mine still hasn't gone complete after submitting in early November. I emailed them early this week to check and see if anything is missing and still haven't heard back. I'm beginning to think no one is in the admissions office.

Shit, sorry to hear that. That's my cue to stop checking every 5 min... this is going to be a long month.

Yeah it's weird because everything is checked green, but it still says "Completion Pending"

Same, although I submitted a little later than you.
It's the last in my list of status checkers, and I've learned not to expect much when I get to it.

This week has been a bad week for status checking for me. Although it was a nice day for you and NYU!

+1
Status checks have literally had no movement for a week. Bleah. Impatience.
Edited for awful grammar.

Duke over the weekend, NYU today. This might be my best finals week ever.

LS22 & Midwest: If either of you has any sort of C&F issue from undergrad, you might want make sure your dean certification got sent in. I was in the "completion pending" phase for a while because of that.

Mine is also "completion pending," even though all the relevant portions are complete. But I submitted the week before Thanksgiving, so I haven't been as worried. Perhaps call them if it doesn't go complete soon?

Thanks, but I don't. It really hasn't been that long, I'm not worried yet; it's just that they're taking longer than everywhere else I've applied, except Michigan.

It's a scary thought that they may be following us on tls... Matching my tls to my person is not really difficult for adcoms... I've said far too much. Columbia, if you're out there, I have a thing for stalkers <3

Yeah they could probably pick me out pretty quickly too. I've fudged my GPA slightly but not much lol.
