I'm hoping Stanford "forgot" to call me last week.

It’s mid-December and I’ve not yet started to make my calls to you. That will change very soon (as in today or tomorrow) and you may be the one to see the 650 call come through or you may be the one to read that congratulatory email in your in-box. I’ve got a stack of files in front of me and I’m feeling a tad playful and mischievous thinking about who will be that first person I call. Should I do it in alpha order? Should I do it by date the files were completed? Should I just toss the files up in the air and pick the one that lands face up? Should I get out my map of the country, close my eyes and pick a state? [Remember spinning the globe when you were young - with no idea of what was yet to come - to decide where you’d live when you grew up?] Should I do it by time zone? I really shouldn’t call someone from California when it’s 7:15 am, right, especially if that someone is still in school?

Same for me. My understanding is that the SLS status checker doesn't really do anything anyway.

The SLS Status Checker is interesting. If you google Stanford Law Status Checker and click that link then your log-in won't work. But if you go through their website and click prospective students > jd applications > status checker then it works. Not sure why. I assume its a coding issue or something.

Haha yea it is really not an exciting status checker. I check it everyday and I take it as a positive thing that I'm still in the pool of consideration lol. That's why I was wondering if anyone knows if rejections or WL have started appearing.

There haven't been any credible reports of one yet. I think they won't start happening until February.

With no amazing softs, should I expect a 168 to 165 retake decrease to worsen my chances from 1/4 (according to myLSN) to something lower? I'm not sure whether it's worth the big app fee, but out of HYS, it's clearly the most plausible place for me to get in.
