Did anyone else submit their application over LSAC.org in the past two days? I submitted mine last night and it still hasn't been received. Getting a little worried with the EA deadline being on Monday...

I submitted mine Thursday night. On LSAC it says they requested a CAS report and one was sent but I have not gotten an email from Cornell saying they received anything yet or a status checker.DaRascal wrote:Did anyone else submit their application over LSAC.org in the past two days? I wouldn't worry about the EA though, if it is complete on LSAC, Cornell knows you submitted in time. I think it usually takes Cornell a couple of days to respond when you submit.
Good luck DaRascal!

Hey you're right. They got my CAS report yesterday. Awesome.
Good luck to you too, Gisney. Hopefully we can both get in.

Just turned in my app! Put down that I'm applying EA, but noticed the date on the app still says apps must be sent by Nov 1. Also checked their website and it still says Nov 1 as well. Can someone please reassure me my app will be considered EA??

Why would your app be considered for EA when you missed the deadline by two days?aiaea wrote:Just turned in my app! Due to the inclement weather in the Northeast, we are extending our Early Action deadline to Monday, November 5, 2012. Please e-mail for more information.

Re: Cornell c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Hi All - I received my LSAT score of 169 and I'm taking it again in December. Does it make sense for me to apply to EA Cornell using my October score? Based on my GPA it is likely that I will get admission. Can I then use my December score (assuming there is an improvement) to increase my $$$? Or should I just wait to apply with my December score? Please help!!

Re: Cornell c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Thanks. Do you think I'd lose out on an advantage by applying in December? I would like to go to Cornell but I want to maximize my chance at $$, hence the retake. Say my score doesn't go up, would a 3.7 / 169 give me the same chance in December / January as it would by doing an EA?VasaVasori wrote:After I took in June, I applied in September, and they held my application for my October score. Chances are they would do the same with you, although I'd imagine that you could email them and tell them to review your application anyway (at the same time, though, they might interpret that to be saying that you're not interested in their school very strongly, because if you were and you thought you had a good chance of getting in, why would you retake, and if you didn't think you had a good chance of getting in, why wouldn't you ask them to hold your application? but Cornell doesn't really seem to yield protect, so this might not matter...)VeeD101 wrote:Hi All - I received my LSAT score of 169 and I'm taking it again in December. Thank you, you've been very helpful! I'm going to spend my time studying, rather than working on a last minute DS and resume.
Good Luck with your application

Hey sorry, a bit of a n00b around these here parts. How long after one submits an app does Cornell send a "Complete" email + a status checker?

This is relevant to my interests. I submitted Friday and have no confirmation from Cornell.aiaea wrote:Hey sorry, a bit of a n00b around these here parts. How long after one submits an app does Cornell send a "Complete" email + a status checker?

I'm in an identical situation. Hoping I get in just in time for EA.Elahrairah wrote:This is relevant to my interests. If it helps, I sent mine in on October 29th, got status checker on the same day, and got "Complete" email on November 1st.
With that said, I have heard from people who waited up to three or four business days (school days?) to get a confirmation of receipt. It could jut be that they haven't gotten around to it yet, especially if more than one person has this issue. I wouldn't worry if I were you. It'll happen.
Edit: Also, for EA, you just need to have sent it in by 11/5, it does not need to be complete for a little while longer, so if you sent it in on Friday, you made the deadline. I can't find the link but I believe somebody posted it higher up in this thread. Anyway, congrats!
