No, you're not. Check LSN for last year. There doesn't seem to be a clear pattern in terms of timing - lots of people who applied early got accepted much later. Berkeley seems pretty unpredictable with the timing of their decisions, so it doesn't make sense to speak of anyone getting "passed over," not at this point anyways. Way too early to lose hope!

Yeah I took a look at this, doesn't seem to be much in the way of a predictable pattern, which let me relax a bit, I was getting ready to buy a pack of cigs and start smoking again.

Pretty quickly after I got the status checker, I don't remember the exact dates. I got the checker about a week after I applied and it was complete before the next week. That said, I think it varies, Berkeley is a black box in a lot of ways.

So many people are spelling “Berkeley” wrong up in here. If you want to get in you should at least know how to spell the name.
