I think they're completely unrelated, since it seems the PIPS committee is separate from everything else and hasn't sent out decisions yet, to my knowledge. But in the case that they are related, it's probably good sign that you didn't get a scholarship email!ash8309 wrote:Do you think that means you are out of the running for the PIPS if they offered you another scholarship? Do you think that means I am still in the running if I didn't recieve anything? Or, do you think this all means nothing? We're all in the habit of reading into EVERYTHING. Also, why a long shot for the PIPS?dariamorgendorffer wrote:I applied for PIPS (serious long shot) and got the 10k scholarship via email today.ash8309 wrote:Did anyone who applied for the PIPS scholarship (full-ride public interest/service scholly) get an email about scholarships?
And I think I'm a long shot because although I do have 75 percentile LSAT/GPA and some decent public service internship experience, I'm going straight to law school from undergrad and it seems that all the past PIPS recipients are Peace Corps or have other significant post-grad experience. Who really knows though?
