Anyone down to do some of those trips on the weekends? Another plus for UT
Absolutely yes. I so want to go caving... and rock climbing....and rafting! If I'm ever out of the library long enough to actually do those things

Oh man. There's so many things to do in Austin that even if we were trustifarians with no school or work, we still couldn't do it all in 3 years. I'm still physched about the music scene.txlaw wrote:bleedblue wrote:http://recsports.smugmug.com/Outdoor-Recreation

Is anyone else baffled that UT doesn't accept Visa for deposit payment? I have to do the e-check option now and hope that the funds transfer in time.

Re: IN AT The University of Texas Class of 2014
For those looking at housing already:
Have one bedroom left in a 3br/2bth house about 10 minutes from the Law School. House is beautifully remodeled as of this year with hardwood floors, new kitchen appliances, and a few assorted extra goodies. House has a two car garage, and a phenomenal backyard with greenhouse, outdoor shower, a pool, and two large decks. Was going to live in it myself but I was dinged at UT... However, one of the roommates is a rising 2L at UT Law and he can surely help while you adjust to law school.
Price is going to be cheap for what you get, probably 750 or 800 plus bills. Nine month lease.
For those of you not wanting to live too far out or not wanting to drive, the house is only about two minutes from a park and ride stop. I'd guess you would be at the law school in twenty minutes.
PM for address and additional info.
Come check it out may be gone pretty quick!

I had the same problem. The e-Check option works almost the same as a credit card, though. I received a confirmation within minutes. The transaction is nearly instant on the UT side, it just takes a day or two to register with your bank. Also, I paid yesterday through e-Check, and I received confirmation this morning from my bank.awilson11 wrote:Is anyone else baffled that UT doesn't accept Visa for deposit payment? IN OFF THE WAITLIST.
Just got a call from Dean Ingram 30 minutes ago. I was in class, still am, but had to leave to check a voicemail from a 512 #.
512-232-1208, is that the # that calls? I only ask because I have some asshole friends who would do something like that.
