When in doubt send them an email and ask. I received a very prompt response when I had a question about being put on the WL.

You know, I have never not received a very quick response to an email I have sent them.

You might as well sell that Kawi before you move to Houston. I plan on putting my 09 R1 up for sell before the summer. There is nowhere to ride around here...

You know I would brag on them and it would come and bite me in the end. The first time I sent them an email I had a response within 30 minutes. This morning I emailed them a LOCI and have not received any confirmation that they received it yet. This week is spring break for STCL and just about every college in the US?

So I spoke with someone at the admissions desk and they told me it looked like the wait could be until the end of April for everyone to hear back.

People will start jumping ship next week, I can't believe they don't realize that.

Yeah, they have to know that deposit deadlines are coming up, and I can't believe that they won't start getting decisions out before that.

No, I was anxious when they told me this and made sure to clarify. They said those that get accepted after the STCL deposit deadline will have 2-3 weeks to turn in theirs. It's a scary thought that one can still get rejected all the way up until end of April.

They had better get things together.

Took a chance and mailed my seat deposit today. Could have waited till monday to hear about scholarhip money, hopefully I'll get some. I'm going to try to find a place on my own but I know it could be cheaper to have a roommate. Anyone looking? I'm considering Montrose, midtown, and the museum district. PM me if you're the least bit interested.

So, I got bored tonight and did some searching on this site (LinkRemoved) and I found that STCL has produced 18 attorneys at these large-ish firms from the classes of 09 and 10, with a larger number of 06-08 grads per year (I just didn't feel like adding up the numbers on those years). So, what my quite bored mind tells me from this little search is that even in the apocalypse that was this economy, STCL grads still have a shot at biglaw, so hopefully we will have a bit better chance of biglaw from STCL.
Or maybe I need to put the computer away and go to sleep.

No, it's Nolan Ryan, but I can see how in the tiny picture it could be confusing. I'm not redass enough to have Bob Gates as my avatar.

when i applied for spring my application went from complete to in review, and then to decision mailed. Is it going to be different for the fall admissions. My status checker is still at complete, will it just go to decision mailed and skip the review part?

Mine went to decision rendered-admitted without any review. From what I've read, most had the same.

They're out on break until Monday.
On another note, does anyone know the dress for the admitted students reception? I'm going thursday, and I figured it would be a suit. I emailed STCL but they didn't answer.

Full tux. Nah, but I'd say business casual, with a jacket in the car on standby?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
