I'm still waiting to hear back from USD, but I applied a bit late in the cycle so I understand that I probably won't hear back from them for a while. However, is it normal that USD has not accessed my application at all since I applied? All the other schools I applied to (on the same day) have accessed my application at least once (according to status checker).

For waitlist on the the right box "status" under current status: it will say "waitlisted". Under current status date it will say the date you were waitlisted. I imagine it's the same for the other statuses, but anybody with firsthand knowledge feel free to correct me.

I was considered a deny for this school, so I am pleased that it wasn't a flat out rejection.

I'm right with you. Got waitlisted today via status checker too. I'm going to wait a week or so to see if I get any sort of communication from them, then send a LOCI to admissions if I don't.

I received an email from the admissions office notifying me that I had been waitlisted.

Nothing in the mail today. Hoping for something tomorrow, but I think it'll be a rejection. Pretty sure I'm going to Temple unless USD, by some miracle, accepts me and offers 15k.

so I was waitlisted 4/4, sent in my LOCI on 4/5 and status changed to "Decision Rendered" this morning (4/7)...

Well that sounds encouraging. Unless of course your letter read - "and that is why I'm prepared to attend Pepperdine if admitted."

haha thank you! I actually just went back to double check my letter because you scared me a little bit, and its all clear lol.

got my acceptance packet today in the mail. decision was rendered 4/4. i plan on withdrawing though.

mine came about 1 week after acceptance letter arrived.

For some reason, I'm one of the non-traditional applicants that actually prefers it too. I have a few PT jobs now dealing with international law and clean energy, so I'm hoping I can transfer that to SD if I'm accepted PT and find something worthwhile to keep gaining experience.

emailed the admissions comittee about my application.

they responded back stating a wave of decisions will be made mid-april.
