Still waiting on a response. I'm supposed to visit NY this weekend & make a stop here. I've been following law school numbers and it seems that responses are still trickling in, so I'm crossing my fingers to hear back this week.

My opinion the ONLY reason Cardozo isn't ranked higher is because of it being a relatively new school and lack of large alumni base hurts it.

Won't that lack of a large alumni base translate to fewer connections in a over-saturated, over-talented legal market?

I'm starting to wonder if I made the right choice in asking to stay on the waitlist for fall only. I hate that their May program has classes during the day - it makes it damn near impossible to work, which is the big advantage of going PT for a year. I would love to not be completely living on loans for one of the three years, especially since I'm getting no merit aid. But I really like Cardozo.
Does anyone know what time the classes are for May people, roughly?
I'm glad dozo is back in Tier 1, but it sucks when it's at your expense. I think I would have gotten in a year or two ago, but they have to be strict with the numbers to move up. Ah, what is meant to be will be, I guess.

Classes start on May 17 - two classes a day, one at 10 and the other at 1:30 (and no classes on Friday). There's probably very little chance finding a job to go along with that, but you never know!

And is it typical for there to be a class in which we have an "assignment" of sorts?

I inquired about dress code. Casual to business casual.

I'll be casual. I'll probably wear jeans, a sweater (i'm a girl) and boots incase it rains. At my last ASD everyone was really casual, and I'm not really worried about if the school thinks I'm a snappy dresser - they are supposed to be wooing us! Just don't look like a slob. I don't know how typical it is to have an assignment, but Brooklyn has one too.

I called last week to ask when I'd hear back. They couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate I've been UR since 2/1. How bout u?

Yes the day after tomorrow. I got a call from the Dean late last week, just booked my travel. Leave tomorrow afternoon, arrive in the evening.

@maglialoro: ASD is more comprehensive than sneek peak, plus its all day as opposed to a few hours.
