Looks like next batch of decisions won't go out till the new year.

"After nearly two months of continuous file review, we will be taking a bit of a break over the next couple of weeks. After all, ’tis the season. Of course, we will continue reading files (after all, that is kind of our job), but, for those of you who have applied in the last couple of days (or will be applying in the coming weeks), our next batch of decisions will not go out until after the first of the new year."

Does W&L send out some sort of "admitted applicants packet" or anything? I received the admittance letter with the sticker, and I saw on my status checker that they are sending some sort of deans letter as well. I'm just wondering if I should be waiting on more information from them.

Anyways, congrats to everyone, and good luck to those still waiting.

I got multiple additional letters, including one from the Dean.
But no packet.

I would say that W&L's admission packet is largely online.

Although, I've never seen a school send out so many small letters. I feel like I'm getting something from them once every five days.

Do schools that we apply to get our scores before we do? I thought our files were held until the new score was released! Sent an email - hope I'm not too late!

Have any of the admitted students checked their status checkers and seen that letters without any descriptions were mailed from W&L? For me they were mailed out 1/3, but I'm curious to know if anybody knows what they are (there are 2 blank, but dated mailings listed).

The one from 12/20 was a letter about the Third Year program. I also have 2 from 1/3 one blank and one from the dean.

I had the same two blank yesterday, today it says one is from the dean and one is an open house postcard.

Got an email today saying they'd have a decision for me by 5:00 p.m., and that I should monitor my status checker.

I got that email and then was accepted around 3pm. I got the email before I even thought to check the status checker. Good luck!

Submitted 12/23/10, In Review 12/31/10, and Admitted 1/6/11. Great turn-around!

They sent me an e-mail saying that they would be sending out the first batch of scholarship offers in mid-January via letters (I assume snail mail), so I guess I'll keep my eyes on the mailbox.

Emails say that an acceptance letter is on the way, and than they typically award scholarships in mid-Jan. Everyone is considered for merit money, and you get notified either way ($$ or no) via mail.

Flat out rejection. I should have known they wouldn't look past the lsat score. I thought if anyone would, it would be W&L. I guess Illinois is still a possibility.
