Do you have felony convictions or did you write a PS about overcoming pedophilia?

Haha the answer to both those questions is no.. And my PS topic was about working full time as a communications assistant for my U.S. Senator for the last 1.5 years while attending their university. Maybe that's what kept me out
I'll just have to get over it. Congrats to those who are in!

Do they have a big WL? I was WL with over 75th LSAT and sub 2.75 GPA. Is it worth a LOCI and spending money to go visit, or do they pretty much wait-list everyone?

If you really have your heart set on GW, I say write that LOCI and let them know. They have bitten on some extreme splitters like yourself (including sub 2.75 GPA), so you still have a chance. Even if you opt out of visiting, the LOCI only costs you the price of a stamp.tinlawman wrote:Do they have a big WL? I was WL with over 75th LSAT and sub 2.75 GPA. Dinged today. I had a feeling that would happen, since they deferred me from ED about three weeks ago now. Good luck to those still waiting/on the waitlist!

Re: GW 2011 Applicants
I would definitely write a LOCI and include some "why GW?" info if you didn't write the optional essay in your application. If your grades moved upward last semester you should definitely mention that (and send LSAC your updated transcript). I got accepted with a 2.94 GPA (and sub-3.0 I think it's all kind of the same) so you do have a chance.cowgirl_bebop wrote:If you really have your heart set on GW, I say write that LOCI and let them know. +1. They let me in with a 2.44, so there is certainly hope for you. Keep after them and good luck!!fatduck wrote:I would definitely write a LOCI and include some "why GW?" info if you didn't write the optional essay in your application. Re: GW 2011 Applicants
completed early in november, ED
transferred to RD on 12/29
now wl by email.
167/3.5
hope my information will provide any tips.
My opinion for others on waitinglist is that the list is too long. To me, a waiting now is the same as a rejection in July. Hope I could receive something from NDLS packet.

I disagree with this. While the list will most likely be long, I feel that a lot of people will either withdraw, or not take any further action. If you put forth a tremendous amount of effort and seriously go all out, one can get themselves in off of it. I mean, realistically they will indeed make some offers of it. And as was discussed earlier, it's not ranked....

Re: GW 2011 Applicants
to be fair, no one should ever bank on a waitlist as a realistic option for acceptance, always the opposite. Getting an acceptance from a waitlist would be a nice surprise, but it is more often than not, unexpected.dcbound wrote:fedexmalcom wrote:My opinion for others on waitinglist is that the list is too long.
