Mine had a "under review" date of the 17th, and between this morning and now it changed to say the 19th.

+1. I hope they start hurrying up now that it's almost Feb (unless they want to reject me in which case they should feel free to think about it a little longer)

You've been checking it hourly!? I don't think you are checking it enough. I'm a true believer in "if you keep refreshing, it will change faster"

For real. At this rate, jetergrl2ss, you won't find out until next month. Ignoring the fact that if this were true I should have found out around 3 weeks before I applied...

I went complete 1/11/11 and just went to under review 1/20/11, any thoughts on how long it is going to take to get an answer?

Again, there's people from 12/8 with good numbers waiting still so - i'd guess at least a few weeks.

and this surprises you why? Pitt is a good option but it hardly attracts people from all across the country. You seem to have gotten a good deal from Pitt but it is obvious you do not want to attend.

Do yourself a favor and just withdraw, why go to a school that you have no desire to attend?

I don't know that it's obvious that I don't want to attend... I'm seriously considering it.

Graduating from Pitt with very, very little debt seems like a great thing to me.

I did this and was told that they forgot to include my scholarship info in the letter. Just got an e-mail telling me that I'm getting $15k. Hearing this started my Friday on a great note.
