After a disappointing afternoon due to NYU, I hope Columbia saves my day. Here's to hearing soon!

I think we're all going to end up getting our hopes up. Last year they did December 1st and December 3rd but the year before that was November 26th and December 5th, a full 5 business day gap (9 days total). Therefore I'm tempted to say next Tuesday. Though obviously I'd be thrilled to hear back today

Just got an email requesting my fall grades. GPA just under 4.0...

Any idea why they would ask? Seems like a bunch of people have gotten these requests the past two days, all with GPA's near 4.0.

Oh and congrats on Harvard and Berkeley, btw.

Thanks! And I have no idea - based on other posts there seems to be a trend with high GPAs and grade requests.. maybe Columbia wants to make sure we don't slack off this semester?

Just got the fall grades request as well, though I won't have them until near the end of December. Currently sitting at a 3.9. Interesting that they ask for them explicity, haven't seen that from any other school.

172... I think it's about time I updated my TLS profile... Columbia is a reach for me I know but I'm hoping against hope that I'll get to go there next year haha

TLSNYC, I'm thinking you have a great shot, right? Killer LSAT score, stellar GPA, right? It's a huge reach for me, unfortunately.

Actually, I have, by CLS standards, a terrible LSAT, below their 25th percentile. I have strong(?) softs though -- published author (i.e. not in a journal, like an actual book), while in undergrad, and an elected political official.
