Got accepted today (167, 3.5x)! My question is... Do I still have to pay the application fee? It wasn't waived, and I didn't get a chance to send it in yet (nor did I complete my residency info on their site), but I got the acceptance packet today.

I used my parents' address for all of my law school apps because the mail in my apt. complex sucks. I'm home for Thanksgiving and PRAYING for the letter to get here before I go back up to school.

You see.. I applied to 2 schools last year. I told my mother about the envelope trick-- small= deny/WL, big=accept (typically and for these 2 schools). I live about 10 minutes from my parents. I was SO confused that I didn't hear from the schools all year. I didn't know about TLS yet and didn't really concern myself with status checkers. I come to find out, in June or so, that my mother had HID the letters because they were in small envelopes and she didn't want my feelings to be hurt. She didn't even OPEN THEM! They were both waitlists and I'm kind of glad it all happened because I retook the LSAT and found TLS and became much wiser... but I'm just sayin. haha

ABA law school data on LSAC says the median is still 161 and the 75th still 163... hmmm... I thought LSAC was all updated. How do we know for sure???

This is straight from UF. I would go with this since it's the most recent data.

Here are the ranges of index formulas for those who PMed me their stats that are newly "letter in transit"

5.818-5.708 (I am, embarrasingly, the lowest. So don't worry, it isn't you Hopefully this means they actually took my GPA addendum into consideration)

Here are a few of them:
5.818
5.755
5.792
5.790
5.785
5.733
5.708

Use this info however you want. You can compare it to other people on LSN (typically these numbers were almost all admit last year) or whatever. <3

I sent an app to FSU last weekend after having been stuck in "review complete; decision pending" for a while... definitely thought I was a borderline candidate. I agree with Barbie though and if they follow the same pattern they've used the past couple years.. they are admit letters.

Got my admit letter today, really psyched to get the first acceptance before thanksgiving! Hoping to get some good money from them, also really like their dual degree programs (master's in engineering FTW!)

In at UF!!! Just got my acceptance letter. Finally, after four years and battling two cruddy previous LSAT scores, I'm finally, finally, going to law school. Waiting to see what FSU/UM may offer in terms of funding, but the probability is high I'll be going here next August.

Does anyone know of the decent housing in the G'ville area? My mother and grandmother live with me and I've been searching for town-home like apartments, but the kind of styles we like that are dominant here in S. Florida don't seem to exist very much up there. Also, how are the hospitals, as my grandmother has some health issues that require us to be near to them.
