I have reason to believe this is NOT TCR.

WLed today for the PT program with 3.54/165. Will hope that this is because I applied late (1/12) and try to ride out the WL. Fordham remains my top choice but if things don't work out will be BC '13.

I'm sure many of you know this already, but if you are rejected for the full-time program, you can email the admissions office and request to be considered for the part-time program. I know of people that got in that way. Transferring from PT to FT is easy after first year and you can still graduate in three years.

So should the email be more formal like a proper LOCI, or should I get the email out asap and follow up with a LOCI?

I just got off the phone with two alums from my undergrad who went to Penn Law- they had nothing but great things to say about the school both academically (of course) and socially. We spoke for hours.

My email for WL was super casual - "Hi <firstname>, I sent out the Waitlist preferences letter today but could you please add to my file that I'd like to be considered for both the full and part time programs?

The response was just as simple "I'll add it to your file and make sure they know"... probably same for your situation. LOCI later.
