Anyone "know" if these go out over several days over the week, or just every Monday? On my phone right now and not trying to read over last year's thread to discern a pattern. Thanks!

FWIW:
Last year there were a bunch of acceptances on 2/4 and 2/5 (Monday and Tuesday).
Then there were a bunch of rejections on 2/7 (Thursday).

Congrats to all the JS2s!!!
Seeing as I will enter into the 20-days-since-JS1 this week, any new batch of JS2s from here on out is going to make me start neurotically watching my phone.

It sounds like the JS2 train may have gotten back into the station. Do we know the most recent interview date to have gotten a JS2 today?

Congratz to all the JS2s today!
Today marks the 1.5-month anniversary of my JS1. Here's hoping JS2s will continue to go out tomorrow.
I'm under the impression that the majority of the December JS1s are still waiting to hear back.

Rejections of people with or without JS1s? Did you notice when you were looking?barrelofmonkeys wrote:FWIW:

Probably without? In the past they've held/waitlisted huge numbers of people, and it seems like very few who received JS1s got flat out rejected.

I didn't look very closely, but there were a bunch of holds for people with JS1s, but I didn't see a rejection (but I really did not thoroughly look).politics89 wrote:Rejections of people with or without JS1s? Did you notice when you were looking?barrelofmonkeys wrote:FWIW:

I almost wish they hadn't done away with holds. I think I would rather hear something, even if it's bad.barrelofmonkeys wrote:I didn't look very closely, but there were a bunch of holds for people with JS1s, but I didn't see a rejection (but I really did not thoroughly look).politics89 wrote:Rejections of people with or without JS1s? Seemed like everyone today was at both medians or better?

There was someone below the GPA median.

I think there was more than one person below a median, but overall yes, this was a pretty remarkable batch of acceptances.dubster101 wrote:He/she is a URM though.drawstring wrote:There was someone below the GPA median.

Re: Harvard, C/O 2017, Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
So I'm looking at numbers right now and I'll post some after this meeting. But this wave looks like everyone was substantially above medians, and the last wave (1/23?) looks like everyone was either at one and below one or at both.
Of course, it would be so much easier to do all of this if people would update the spreadsheet with your numbers and your accepted date, respond to PMs, maybe include them in your original post, or say something like ">75th, at median."
Like actually. Is there a point at all to people with exactly one post not posting their numbers???
