There should definitely be a West and East Florida, today. The stark contrast in people west of Tallahassee and South of Gainesville, is immense.

I could see south and north argument but not east and west...

Where the I-10 and the I-75 meet (Including Gainesville) all the way south to Ocala, perfectly outline the border of West Florida. Everything else would be considered East Florida. This is so accurate, it's not even funny. Jacksonville is not similar enough to G-Ville and Tally to be considered alike in North Florida. Spring Hill and West of Gainesville are the borders as there is generally a mix of the two types of Floridians.

I would probably redact that map to push the west more easterly to the edge of Jacksonville and North to about Yulee, yet Jacksonville, Fernandina and everything else on the coast are definitely not alike. Most of Clay and half of Stark are West for sure though.

Clay county is basically a suburb of Jacksonville. I don't get how Jacksonville is closer to Miami than Tallahassee for you? It truly baffles my mind lol. On another note, is it August yet? Work feels especially pointless now that I have my t14 acceptance.

Miami wouldn't be the capital, it would be Orlando, which is essentially an amalgamation of both types of Floridians plus Disney. Jacksonville is definitely more like Orlando than Tally.
