Re: Harvard 2010!
Whoa...I just logged on and saw everyone's WLs, sorry guys.
My inbox is still empty, and I saw someone post that they had been held in March (like me) and got a waitlist email today, so I guess that means a ding for me sometime in the next couple [strike]weeks[/strike] hours.
edit: a 3.78/177 WL on LSN? Why, HLS?

Are rejections/WLs via e-mail or snail mail? I'm awaiting mine so I can finally withdraw (and if waitlisted, hopefully free up some space for ya'll).

Re: Harvard 2010!
seriously...what was HLS looking for this cycle? I always thought of them as a numbers-driven school, but I guess they're looking for people who cured cancer along the lines of YLS and SLS this cycle?georgina wrote:yea, and that 3.79/180 Butler WL?? That green area is pretty identifiable by the numbers. Still looks pretty numbers driven to me, with the only change being that they might be raising their GPA median this cycle.blue5385 wrote:seriously...what was HLS looking for this cycle? I've waited this long (I applied in September), and I want some closure to my cycle.bloodonthetracks wrote:can't you withdraw without hearing a decision?BioEBear2010 wrote:Are rejections/WLs via e-mail or snail mail? Haven't gotten a waitlist e-mail yet...does that mean I am probably rejected?
Just got rejected at Yale this afternoon...2 in 1 day would really suck.

Purgatory.... I'm just saying...Not mine wrote:Thought: The closer a soul is to the bottom of the mountain, the harder it is to motivate himself to climb upwards, partly because the path is so steep. As he purges himself of his sins, though, his suffering eases and he actually feels lighter as he climbs higher. The higher he climbs, the easier the path becomes, so that his virtue increases along with his willingness to suffer as he climbs.

I'd say we're more in the 9th circle 4th zone.Unitas wrote:Purgatory.... Same thoughts. Not sure to be happy or nervous that I may have missed the WL onslaught.democrattotheend wrote:Haven't gotten a waitlist e-mail yet...does that mean I am probably rejected?

I sent Harvard an email at 7:00 AM this morning telling them I would turn down my Northwestern full ride if they accept me rather than waitlist or reject me. I hope it helps.

Re: Harvard 2010!
looking at last year it seems like waitlists were sent out over two or three days (starting on a wednesday).CG614 wrote:Same thoughts. Wonder if JR likes to end his Fridays with a few JR2s to settle his nerves down...
