Yea, that was more like: we don't know anymore then you do about our WL at this time. We'll get back to you.

Not bad though.... Also did those getting WLed send LOCI's in time for them to have read before WLing? I know this sounds stupid, but I am curious.

Probably around 3 hours of this (I got my hold between 5 and 6). I think the news will become grimmer (WL to rejections) as the day progresses though.

Probably around 3 hours of this (I got my hold between 5 and 6). I think the news will become grimmer (WL to rejections) as the day progresses though.

do you think holds will get outright rejections?
if only past years lsn percentages were a perfect perdictor of reality as then they would need to accept 19.98% of applicants and thus 9 or 10 more pending-profiles. too bad that's clearly not the case. I guess pretty much all future admits this cycle will be wl/a.

I thought they might do it today, but throwing a few JR1s into a huge bloodbath of WL is probably not best. First, it would increase the chance for a mistake in sending someone a JR1. Second, if they are doing it in batches they just finished up the for sure WL, then will probably finish up the for sure rejects. Then on monday they can look at the rest refreshed and offer a few JR1s and decide on the rest to be WL or rejected.

Just how I would think to do it. Nothing based on fact.

Haha so do I, and I through some disclaimers in here and there. It seems reasonable though.

Also, I don't think anyone with a JR1 has been WLed yet, so it is almost certain there is going to be another WL batch.

Wow, got my WL email at 3:53, expected to be rejected given <25% LSAT, ~25% GPA.

Maybe I should've gotten that LOCI to them sooner, although now at least I have something to say when I accept a spot on the waitlist...
