Under careers from the USNWR. I think you have to have a sub to see it though.
I'm surprised, they're calculating using the same methodology as LST now? Very cool.

I mean, it seems like your obvious top choice, and if you can afford it, I say go for it!

66.6% JD preferred or required? If that's the case, and those are long term, that's not bad at all.

Well...kinda.Presidentjlh wrote:66.6% JD preferred or required? If that's the case, and those are long term, that's not bad at all.
But I'm literally just focusing on the biglaw stats.

Fair enough, I plan to just hang around the Midwest and do mid and SmallLaw for smaller cities and towns. Pretty ignored market.shntn wrote:Well...kinda.Presidentjlh wrote:66.6% JD preferred or required? If that's the case, and those are long term, that's not bad at all.

66.6% would be 200/300 or, I assume, the number of full time, long term bar required positions (205) minus solo practitioners (5).
It's hard to tell what small/mid law is self selection and which is not, as with all employment stats, sadly. If only there were some way to measure that..

UIUC's still in freefall from their Dean of Admissions lying about their LSAT scores. The drop from 168 to 163 really had an effect. Then the reputational fallout kicked in this year. And of course, after the severe drop in the rankings, they're going to have a hard time attracting decent students. From the LSN graph this year, looks like their medians might drop even more.cusenation wrote: Can someone explain what happened to Fordham and UIUC. I'm genuinely curious...
