Can't unfortunately; but I visited the school a month ago before I had been accepted. The new building is awesome. i'm leaning towards submitting a deposit here w/10k over Temple (out of state) sticker.

I'm starting to think I'll have passed the bar before Villanova ever makes a decision on my application. Good thing they weren't at the top of my list.

I got in via the Status Check a few days ago. I think I'm pretty much settled on Temple, but if I get some sort of a scholarship at 'Nova I might have a decision to make. This is probably unlikely with my numbers.

Rutgers-Camden gave me in-state tuition, and bumped my scholarship by $4000. I will only be paying $8k a year for law school. Needless to say, I am withdrawing from Villanova. Good luck all!

I've been hemming and hawing between VLS and Rutgers Camden for awhile now, but I'd say I'm 95% sure I'm heading here. I was impressed with the Career Services speaker and the student panel speakers from Saturday's ASD. I really want to work in Philly, and I think it has better access to the Philly market as well.

I just really want to make a decision and stop feeling like I'm in limbo, ya know?

I had to make the same decision as you, VLS or Rutgers-Camden. one of the toughest decisions of my life. The ASD really reaffirmed my decisions though.

I got the impression that the deposit deadline was kind of a soft deadline. You could mail it out today via regular mail and just email them saying the deposit is on its way. I'm sure they would still accept it.

All I look for is the lawyer/judge opinion which puts Nova in the 30's

Oh, to be sure, it's an academic question; I'm still depositing there. I'm just curious as to what may have affected their ranking.

If you look at the leak it says attorneys and judges rate nova at 3.3 which, going by that puts them in the company of the schools in the 30-40 range.

At the end of the day the most important factors IMO are employment (nova ranked 39 on the NLJ Go To Schools), the peer reviews by judges and attorneys, and professor quality; along with were you have the best feel or fit.
