Don't reply. There's no need. I didn't reply and I got the call right when he said I would.Isa wrote:Just got the JR1 email!!Application received/under review 10/26. I actually haven't received a "complete" email yet haha.
Would it be a bad idea to reply to the email even if we don't have a conflict with the time scheduled? I always feel compelled to confirm emails, but I'm not sure if it's appropriate in this case...thoughts?

Went under review 10/23/2009 so haven't been waiting too long, but a little longer than those with auto-admit numbers.

This might be the last batch of JR1s to get a JR2 before Thanksgiving, right?

No one's gotten a JR2 yet, right? But there have been at least 3 rounds of JR1s. I'm not sure if these JR1s will hear before December.soullesswonder wrote:Congratulations!GargamelITT wrote:wooohoooo, got me a JR1!! wow, what a wait. so excited right now. submitted toward the end of sept, been complete since early october

Re: Harvard 2010!
last year, the last round of TS1s to hear before Thanksgiving got their TS1 email on 11/17, so I think it's possible that there will be 1-2 more batches of JR1s who will still hear before Thanksgiving.letsgojayhawks wrote:No one's gotten a JR2 yet, right? Re: Harvard 2010!
As far as we know, there have been no JR2s thus far this cycle. Last year it looks like there was a big batch on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Last year that was 11/25. This year it will be 11/24. It looks like there is a slightly smaller batch the next day (the day before Thanksgiving). So look for a bunch of JR2s between 11/23 - 11/25 this year.letsgojayhawks wrote:No one's gotten a JR2 yet, right? But there have been at least 3 rounds of JR1s. Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the info. I doubt I'm even going to get a JR1, but it'll still be interesting to see how the cycle plays out.crackberry wrote:As far as we know, there have been no JR2s thus far this cycle. Think there have been more JR1s this cycle than at this point in the previous cycle, or just that TLS is twice as popular now?crackberry wrote: As far as we know, there have been no JR2s thus far this cycle. Ken can probably tell us how members/posts are looking relative to previous cycles.ylc wrote:Think there have been more JR1s this cycle than at this point in the previous cycle, or just that TLS is twice as popular now?crackberry wrote: As far as we know, there have been no JR2s thus far this cycle. Re: Harvard 2010!
Did anyone around or below Harvard 25th GPA percentile get a JR1 recently? I know a few posters around that GPA have gotten JR1s so far, but it still seems to be mostly 3.9+ people that are getting JR1s. I realize 3.9 is around Harvard's median, but it seems strange that Harvard is taking so many relatively low LSAT, high GPA people right now.

Well, in my rough estimate, twice as many people have posted about JR1s this year than last.Split5 wrote:

Either TLS is more popular this year, or they are giving out more JR1s. Seriously hope it's the former.ylc wrote:Well, in my rough estimate, twice as many people have posted about JR1s this year than last.Split5 wrote:

About how many for each cycle have you counted? Any trends noticed in the GPA/LSAT for the different cycles?ylc wrote: Well, in my rough estimate, twice as many people have posted about JR1s this year than last.

I think its the former.. looking on LSN the basic JR1 stats/dates count seems pretty similarcatwoman wrote:Either TLS is more popular this year, or they are giving out more JR1s.
