Just got in full time! So ridiculously excited. I emailed with Dean Brown yesterday, so there is definitely a pattern there.

See some of you in the fall, and those still waiting...the trend on this thread is definitely positive! Good luck to all.

Wow, I wish I found this website/thread sooner. Hi everyone! You all seem to know all there is to know about Fordham... more specifically, getting off the waitlist at Fordham. Waitlisted FT, and after some debate I emailed them yesterday to ask for PT consideration too. Since early May I’ve sent updated transcripts, an additional recommendation letter, and a letter of continued interest to the admissions office. Fordham’s my top choice and I’d drop everything and move to NYC as soon as I hear from them. Is there anything else to do besides wait as patiently as humanly possible?

Its seems like people in this thread have really gotten on his radar. Maybe he checks it out and is pretty confident that people on this thread will definitely attend if admitted, whereas others he can't be so sure about.

I think it helps when an applicant is borderline, but I think schools across the board will admit someone of the WL if they are worthy. I bet it does not matter how many LOCI's they have sent.

He told me that he does check TLS, but has no time to attempt to figure out who we all are. I took this at face value, since he certainly seemed busy. Do you think he (or someone else at the school) is systematically checking TLS and admitting the most persistent people? That would be one hell of a conspiracy theory right there.

If you're reading this, Dean Brown, you rock! No one loves Fordham more than we do!

My theory is that the school admitted enough PT people for a class of 120, and then had to admit about an extra 80 or so to get 40 additional students this late in the cycle. Given that many students have made decisions already, Fordham needs to find people who would happily drop any other school to enroll. Fortunately such people abound in nature and on TLS.
