Ideally today, but maybe after Monday since that was their requested deadline to reply.

How sure are we of positive answers? This thread is reading like the feeler means you're basically in, right?

Literally had a dream that a bunch of TLS'ers were at this party with the dean of admissions and a bunch got off the WL. So odd. I didn't want to wake up.

I've seen some Friday's stragglers back in the ℅ 2017 page if I remember correctly, but definitely no waves. I'd bet on Tuesday.

but tomorrow should be the DLS day. hopefully they get right back to WL movement afterwards.

edit: time between DLS dates/feelers for 2015 and 2016

2015:
- the deposit deadline was Friday, May 1st.
- people had been at the "Applicant Confirmed on the WL" status before anything went down. (UR -----> DLS ------> ACWL)
- people do not go ACWL at the same time. but.. it's possible that the first to go ACWL are the first to get accepted.
- By May 4th, people had gone UR. UR is required after ACWL to get in (ACWL-----UR-------DLS).
- First round DLS on May 6th
- someone went ACWL on May 11th
- people noted that movement happened more often in 2014
- UR May 18th, DLS ?
- UR May 28th, DLS June 2nd
- UR 6/22, UR2 6/23, DLS 6/23
- Feeler July 7th, DLS July 9th
- DLS July 28th


2016:
- the deposit deadline was Monday, May 2nd.
- feeler emails went out on May 4th
- people went UR on May 5th and 6th (those without feelers did not report having gone UR, so my guess is, no email? no UR)
- those who went UR May 5th and 6th went DLS on May 10th. NYU made acceptance calls that afternoon.
- other feeler email/UR daters include May 20th, May 27th, and June 3rd (should give you a sense of deadlines imposed on those accepted)

Is it odd that the order and timing of events is different? I.e. in past years feeler emails went out before UR changes, and in past years the UR --> DLS time was like two days.

Still no URs? I guess they are really waiting for something to happen - perhaps a huge movement on the Harvard list? I can only imagine this affecting NYU's results significantly. Traditionally, they should be having 30%-40% of people off the waitlist, and now they have much fewer.

Still no URs? I guess they are really waiting for something to happen - perhaps a huge movement on the Harvard list? I can only imagine this affecting NYU's results significantly. Traditionally, they should be having 30%-40% of people off the waitlist, and now they have much fewer.

I'm still hoping for a DLS wave tomorrow, though folk on the Harvard thread are predicting some JS2s to come this week. I hope NYU's not waiting on that.

I think the only possibility is that NYU is waiting for Harvard to move - H seems rather slow, too. Only after H moves, NYU can know how and where to move. And then the lower T14 would know how to follow suit. At least that's what I have been telling myself to mend my broken heart.

Since NYU won't meet with waitlisted applicants, do you guys think there is any value in visiting campus? Like, do you think they would at least note that you took the effort to visit?

It certainly wouldn't hurt, and it would give you something to say in another LOCI, but I'm not sure the visit itself does much for a T6 school.

I got the feeler email for the waitlist last week and responded saying I was interested. Just checked my status checker and as of today it says "decision letter sent"

Nothing in my email so guessing decisions come in regular mail?
