Re: University of Pennsylvania c/o 2020 Applicants
I was curious about this today, as I only recently became aware of Penn's ED2 deadline. How do ED2 people typically fair, compared to RD or even ED1?
I know that I can check last year's thread but if anyone knows off hand, feel free to share.
I heard that going ED for NYU usually does not end well, so I'm wondering if it's the same for you ED penn folk.

Along the line of the question above, does applying ED2 preclude an applicant from being considered for merit aid?

Penn is known to be one of the schools in the T14 that affords applicants an admission boost for ED. I think you can still receive merit aid, but I would assume it makes you less likely to receive it because they know they've got you.

Any predictions for first wave of decisions in 2017? Last year, it was Jan 11th, and for each cycle prior, Jan. 9th. Safe to say we can expect movement next week.
