"Your file has been submitted for review." = under review, correct?

Got a missed call and voicemail from a California number, my heart skipped a beat... only to check it and see it was a voicemail from a Michigan student calling to welcome me and answer questions. That's it they're now out of consideration.

CONGRATS! What were your stats if you don't mind me asking? I submitted 11/1 which I know was recent and it's still relatively early but I think my stats are a little low so slowly losing hope.

Omg congrats! This gives this UR 10/20-girl some hope!

Edit: It's probably false hope...but w/e.

Congrats!!! :D

I was beginning to think there was no hope for me because I've been UR since early October. My stats aren't as good as yours, though

Good luck to all those still waiting and congrats to those already admitted!! 8)
Did your application status online (on the app status check page) change before you received the denial? Did you get it by email or by snail mail?
It changed to Decision Letter Sent and then I received the letter via snail mail a few days later
Got it. Now I know I don't have to watch my mailbox and can just keep checking online.

can we use the stipend for a different weekend? I already was scheduled to see family that weekend :(

If you haven't been dinged, you're still in it. They're likely working their way through all the presumptive admits first, and then will go back through the committee reviews.

On this, someone was admitted yesterday who went complete in September, so there's a chance they already made their way back to the beginning. (Don't want to make assumptions, but it's hopeful!)
