Submitted yesterday and already under review Maybe I'm jinxing myself for a long wait but the quick turnaround was exciting haha. Especially when other apps I submitted a week ago are still incomplete...

Submitted ten days ago, went UR two days after submitting, still UR, no changes. I think NYU is just quick about UR1.

I think they are also, I submitted in early October and have been under review for nearly two months. Waiting has never been a strength of mine, and I graduated last May so I don't have school distract me; all I have is work and waiting.

I'm in the same boat Hopefully now that it's post-Thanksgiving, which Spivey says is when they really start pushing out decisions, we'll see some activity.

Yeah; thankfully, I just got a Vandy accept yesterday, but I'm really excited/waiting for NYU.

You should go UR relatively quickly. I think it took a day or two for me. Then you just kinda sit there for awhile.....

If it helps I submitted Oct 25th complete close to Halloween and got the phone call on 11/16

Oh wow, that was a quick turnaround for you.

I've been UR for a little over a week now.

Also curious about your stats. I'm between 25th and 50th for the LSAT, below 25th for the GPA, URM, so lord only knows what's going to happen to me this cycle lol

If it makes you feel better, a friend of mine got in with a 164 and 3.4 GPA last year... he was URM, went to top school for undergrad

I went to what some people refer to as a public ivy. It's in the top 30 for universities according to USN.

I think I just need to relax a little and try to meditate or something. Too much anxiety haha.

WOW really? That would be awesome. I also wrote a why essay (I know it wasn't necessary) & expressed it was my top choice.
