Withdrew with 138k scholarship a minute ago.. so maybe they don't negotiate but now might be a nice time to try! Hopefully it will at least be distributed to recent admits! Best of luck!!

I also withdrew with a six figure scholarship, so yeah, seconded this.

Although I still haven't heard anything from them since I withdrew 3 days ago. Which is a pretty bad look for them, honestly. I hope they acknowledge it at some point.

There seem to be multiple email lists. After I had to withdraw last year, I continued receiving updates and emails up to virtually the start of cases. Called multiple times to confirm I was withdrawn.

Is it customary to send a thank you email to the admissions office after taking a visit? Not sure if I should or not. They never answered my last email to them about my scholarship so I feel like they don't wanna be bothered, but idk. What do you all think

Was just gonna ask about this. Withdrew last week, no confirmation.

I sent one directly to the admissions fellow who did my info session/tour. I always think thank you notes/emails are a nice touch. I'm sure it won't change anything regarding your scholarship, but it's a good practice!

Not sure, but you can't book online anymore because of "event proximity." If you call the hotel they'll probably have at the very least a couple of rooms open from last minute cancellations

Email Dean Rosenzweig about it. Might be faster if you just use his personal address, rather than jdadmissions.

Has anyone tried a negotiation this year? Are they still standing by their no negotiation rules?

Is there no actual rail stop near Emory?
I'm pulling my info from their website, so maybe someone with actual MARTA experience would be more helpful, but this is what Emory says:
"MARTA provides an extensive bus and rail system to meet the transportation needs of the Atlanta region. Emory routes include:
#6 Route connects MARTA's Lindbergh and Inman Park stations via the Clifton Corridor and Emory, and also serves Emory's Briarcliff campus
#19 Route connects MARTA's Chamblee and Decatur stations via Clairmont Road and Emory's Clairmont Campus
#36 route connects MARTA's Midtown and Avondale stations via N. Decatur Road"

This is right! Marta's train layout isn't super extensive (if I'm being nice) and Emory is near the outer boundary of Atlanta so it's serviced by the buses

Rail doesnt extend to most places in Atlanta and MARTA doesnt go to a lot of places. The quoted stop is likely your best bet. If you are flying in then I would take the rail line to the Lindbergh station and transfer to a bus from there. Should cost $2.50 total
