I've been toying with trying but my thread-making abilities and knowledge of the school are seriously sub-par
I'd definitely be willing to do it (knowledge of the school = hella good, thread-making abilities = not so good) but if bagel wants to, they definitely should.
Go for it LC! I'll PM you if I have anything to add, but I think this OP was my zenith.
+ huge huge congrats, not surprised at all though

congrats to all who are newly admitted!
I submitted on Jan. 8 and went under review on Jan. 26.. do any of you know how long it takes until the decision is made, in general? I'm just so anxious ever since it went UR...even had a nightmare last night .

I have a question for those who are knowledgeable... Does Stanford Law do admissions in "waves?" As in, there will be a dry spell ranging from 1 week-1 month, followed by a deluge of acceptance calls/emails? Or is their decision sending process more sporadic (I sense that there has been at least an acceptance every day lately).

Has been a slow trickle since they started doing admits a few weeks ago

Did Stanford extend their deadline to apply? Their website still says 2/2, but on the LSAC website under my active applications it now states 2/16.

Huh, I guess they did, though I can't find anything announcing it anywhere. I wonder why... Can't be a "sky is falling because we don't have enough qualified applicants yet, let's extend the deadline" kind of thing, can it?

Does anyone have a difficulty logging into the status checker? The system doesn't recognize my user name. Can't even change my password. The first time this happened I went from complete to UR.

Make sure you are on the JD status check page. The LLM looks just like it and is the first link in google search.

Everything I know about California is from this song:

I think the furthest west I've ever been is El Paso..
