So I received the travel stipend email with a fee waiver before I had even applied. Backwards much? Interview is in an hour or so and just casually trolling the board because I don't know what else to do..... morning all!

So did I! I figured that was a good sign, but my interview was like 2 weeks ago now and I still haven't heard anything :/

All of the C&F sections for the law school apps I completed said that minor traffic violations could be excluded so I left off the (completely bullshit) ordnance violation I once got for no seatbelt (I had it on!) I don't think it's mention worthy unless perhaps you got a State ticket.

Sent in my application yesterday afternoon, got e-mail to set up an interview today. Starting a new job next week, so I called in and asked if they had any interview slots today and now I'm set up for an interview at 11:30 Pacific time! Hope I get in!

Just had the interview and was asked specifically about my LSAT at the end. I almost had a heart attack. Up until then it sounded like I was set, but I think they might wait until my retake score comes in. I really, really, strongly do not want to wait that long. I was also told that they're taking longer to get back to people after interviews this year, so for everyone who has been waiting for a week or two, don't panic! I'm panicking enough for all of us anyway :)

Are the interviews at WUSTL more of a formality to get the interviewee to become better acquainted with the law school and are basically an auto-admit or do people get rejected after the interview? Some of the earlier posts seem to indicate the former so I wanted to confirm that's what others thought as well!

For the most part yeah, but last cycle there were a few who were rejected/WL'd after interviews. I think it's mostly just to gauge your interest, make sure you aren't a complete weirdo, and try to sell you on WASHU. Good luck.

Guys - I have been admitted and I have not even applied. I applied last year and was admitted with a full ride, but I cannot seem to understand why I would get an acceptance e-mail this cycle.

Now that you mention it, when I withdrew my application last year, I did click "request a deferral" and submitting after initially submitting "Decline your admission's offer."

https://mylaw.wustl.edu/Primary/Admitte ... posit.aspx

But now administration officials ever got in touch with me about the deferral process.

I think their deferral's aren't binding? So maybe that's why nobody ever got in touch with me asking to sign anything.

yeah, I also deferred and received the same email a few days ago. from what I understand, the deferral is only binding on their end - you are not obligated to attend wash u.

I spoke with the admin office over the phone when I was debating the deferral and then again when I decided to defer - that was in July. Last month, they called me again just to check in :)

What are your plans? If you are definitely NOT attending wash u in '15, I would suggest emailing or calling them to let them know that. If you are considering it, I'm sure they would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Idk, when I had my interview today she made it clear that because there are more apps this year the process is different. That could be because I'm a reverse splitter and they're not sure about my decision, but it sounds like an interview doesn't necessarily guarantee an auto-admit this cycle. PM for specifics!

also, it sounds like a significant number of us deferred, so I wouldn't be surprised if they accepted way fewer people than last year...

Maybe but I've seen a bunch of people itt that have interviewed and been accepted and not a single one that went the other way. I guess they could just be not posting here, but you would think one person would if it were happening with any regularity.

I'm def not attending. It's an amazing place, but I am ultimately going in a different direction. I will give them a heads up. Found it weird nobody in administration reached out to me.

Just got the email moving me from ED to RD. No surprise there as I wasnt expecting a full ride with my mid 150's LSAT score  HOWEVER I am just wondering what the timeline has looked like for people who have gotten that email and have either been admitted, waitlisted, or denied.. Hoping the juju is on my side in this one and I can delay my December test to February for scholarship help

Just curious how long it took from when you submitted your ED app to when they rolled you over to regular admission?

In via email!!! But there's no scholarship info. Isn't it supposed to come with the decision mail?

Anyhow, I feel so great. WashU was out of my reach until Oct. LSAT.
