Have any of you over-analyzers found any trend in the day's js1bs? High gpa/lsat? Work experience? Any k-jds?

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2017 - WITH SPREADSHEET!
Seems to be a decent mix in terms of numbers. I've noticed that they seem to be weighted towards the latter half or so of the cycle in terms of when the JS1s were, as if they're working in reverse chronological order. I haven't seen any from October or November so far, and not many from December.
Maybe that's just me being hopeful though.
ETA: earliest JS1 I've seen so far is mid-December and only one reported JS1B has gone to a 2013 JS1.

This would be a perfect time for a troll to falsely report a JS2.
Anyway, I'm going to assume they are coming tomorrow or Friday and not today - need to get back to work!

The wait goes on. I can't believe it's been over half a year since I submitted.

Is the consensus that the post-WL-JS1 HW and call are both JS1bs?
I remember someone saying they didn't get the homework post interview - what's everyone's take on that?

Well first reported js1b happened around 11am PST yesterday, so there is still a two hour wait until then

That's me. I think I might be the only one who didn't get the homework post interview and the only one who interviewed with JS.dnptan wrote:Is the consensus that the post-WL-JS1 HW and call are both JS1bs?

Not to be pessimistic, but doesn't it feel like there are a lot of "JS1Bs" going around? Until I hear of someone getting a JS2, I can't help but feel that they might just be tightening up their wait list instead of actively reaching out to people they're about to admit. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2017 - WITH SPREADSHEET!
Hard to say. About 16% percent of offers come from the waitlist http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=225363, so layering that onto last year's 865 acceptances means that 130 got in off the waitlist.fiji wrote:Not to be pessimistic, but doesn't it feel like there are a lot of "JS1Bs" going around? EDIT: I have a couple more thoughts on this - there are currently 20 people reporting post-WL JS1 and JS1b on the spreadsheet. Last year 22 people on the forum reported WL acceptances. These data points say absolutely nothing, unless you want to assume they are done with post-WL JS1 and JS1b, in which case they are not trimming the WL but preparing admittances for us all.
-OR- you can chose to believe there will be an additional round of JS1 and JS1b, which would indicate they are only using the emails to trim the waitlist (since we already have as many quasi-JS1b's as there were reported acceptances last year).
ALL of this, of course, relies on the frequent assumption that levels of TLS participation are similar across the years.
