You all don't need to post specific numbers if you don't want to, but overall, pleased? disappointed?

I'm pretty confident you've got better numbers than I do and they were still willing to throw me a bone (albeit a relatively dry and fickle bone in relation to their overall COA), I wouldn't fret.

$35 K a year. Basically 2 years of tuition taken care of. If Cornell and Georgetown don't give me a decent amount of money then this decision is going to be terribly hard.

30k a year (3.8x, 166), pretty satisfied. I do think they'll throw out more money later in the process..I have a friend who got in w/ 3.8 167 last April and got 105k.

Any ideas as to how long is a good amount of time to wait before attempting to negotiate it higher?

Hmm...mid-December admit with similar numbers to those who've received scholly emails. Anyone know if being an alum of GW UG hurts in terms of scholarship possibilities/amounts?

Same stats and scholarship award as the poster above (La Cosa). 166/3.8 30k per year.

Does anyone know if GW negotiates?

Thank God, I finally got out of the no action abyss today. Submitted later November, and the acceptance email came this morning. I was stuck on 12/10 for an eternity.

Congrats! I am currently in the 12/10 abyss... but hopefully this suggests that I will hear back soon too.

Admit. Still wait for scholarship. It is really expensive to live in DC! But I like GW anyway

I've only seen a few people mention it and they all had really high numbers. From what I can tell, the purpose seem like a YP thing for the most part.

I'm interested in this too. What's a reasonable expectation concerning scholarships for part-timers?

For those that have received scholarship information thus far, have you already filled out FAFSA, NeedAccess, and/or the Financial Aid Request Form? Or are all those forms exclusively for need-based grants?

No scholly email here. Any ideas how long should we wait before writing to request scholarship consideration?

Seems like from last year they come in waves about 2 weeks after you got in. Not sure I'd email that soon, but hopefully they follow along the same timeline this year.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
