I just got an interview invitation email (numbers below both medians). What does this mean? I NEVER would have expected this. Good sign? Help!

Their tweets say they had done 250 in 2013 and "hope to meet many more of us in 2014." And I think they only started interviewing in mid-November? Specs or someone can correct me on that.

Not sure what that means for the total number of interviews, but you have to assume they'll be doing them at the same if not an increased rate throughout January and February. Not sure about the process much past that point.

Seemed like about 50% in last year's thread. Hard to tell. From what I heard they wanted to do more this year a la HLS.

I did too. Not sure what it means. UR1 was 12/6. Submitted RD on 11/7. No interview request yet...

First status update post-interview was yesterday. Now I can go back to compulsively refreshing the status-checker page They typically release the first batch of RD decisions mid-Jan, right?

Last year was January 23rd via email I believe. I don't think the status checker will give any indication, but I could be wrong

I took a cursory look at last year's spreadsheets and it looks like most of the people who were invited to interview the first week in January heard back on January 23rd and all in that batch were admitted. Do you guys think the law school takes longer to release waitlist offers though? Or should I expect to hear back at the end of January no matter what the decision is?

Now I will get back to interview prep thanks to Regulus and charlie.black's detailed questions. Darn Chicago for toying with my hopes so much.

Ah, good to know. Thank you Lavitz. I was looking only at those who had been invited to interview on 1/2/13 and that batch all got in. But when I look at all the applicants who heard back on 1/23/13 several were waitlisted. Thanks for pointing that out
