Yes, it changed early this morning to "Decision Made" with a note to expect a decision by e-mail within 10 business days. The e-mail came a couple hours later. A needlessly tense couple of hours in my humble opinion....JayJones78 wrote:Congrats new admits!

Currently the latter, since I'm very early in the process, but GW has always been near the top of my list, and if I can get a bit of $$$, I'd say there's a better than 50/50 shot it's where I'll be attending.bgoodrick wrote:congrats to everyone who just got in. anyone sure they are going to GW or are you guys just adding it to your list of acceptances?

George Washington is actually my only acceptance at the moment. If I do poorly on the June LSAT and don't get into Cornell/Georgetown, I'll be at GW next year.bgoodrick wrote:congrats to everyone who just got in. anyone sure they are going to GW or are you guys just adding it to your list of acceptances?
Is anyone planning on attending ASD in March?

anyone tried negotiating with GW yet, it is definitely one of my top choices, but with my current scholarship its a little more debt than I'm willing to take on..

No I actually just let it sit there...which made both the status change and timing so much more surprising

Got an e-mail today saying I've been taken off the waitlist and am now accepted.
While I would imagine that a scholarship's a bit unlikely, it is nice to be accepted, and if I do get a scholarship, that could be a game-changer.

Dafuq, I applied in mid-November and am stuck on a 1/15 complete status. Now they're clearing out the waitlists already?
I've been left behind.

In off the waitlist (applied late December, WLed mid-January)
I'm surprised I heard back so soon. Feels good to have a solid option on the table. Now if only it didn't cost a quarter million dollars...
ETA: 3.58/166 for reference.

Re: George Washington c/o 2016
Congrats waitlisters!
I applied 1/13, 166 LSAT, mediocre GPA with addendum, good WE for 3-4 years, good LOR, and visited the school a few times, including sitting in on a class. Had a few completes, including one on 1/25 which led to a bunch of acceptances here, but I still haven't heard anything. This has me a bit worried.
I think GW is my top choice, especially after sitting in on Orin Kerr's class.
