Has anyone negotiated scholarships with UCLA using schollies from other schools? I wasn't offered anything from UCLA but have received a scholarship elsewhere. Did you email or call? Any tips would be much appreciated.

Is anyone else having a hard time getting into the admitted students webpage? I'm starting to feel a little challenged.

We have almost the exact same numbers... and I'm from Alaska, and I was admitted. Idk if that would have anything to do with it.

honestly, I have no idea blame it on this unpredictable cycle I supposed haha but I know nothing glaringly bad in my application since I got into everywhere else that I applied/have heard back from so far and with pretty good money. oh well you win some you lose some!

Accepted today! No mention of $$. I applied to the Epstein Program- that's the main draw UCLA has for me.

Oh no! I didn't hear about the Program- I just meant the lack of initial scholly didn't phase me much since I'm still waiting to hear about the PI program. I was worried they were going to hold me until after Feb. and preclude me from being considered, as well.

Actually I thought people who applied to Epstein didn't hear back on acceptances period until March ... guess I was mistaken or it's different this year!

I am concerned about my merit award? Only 15K/ yr. Iowa gave me full tuition scholly plus a stipend. Can i get more?

They aren't really peer schools... You may be able to negotiate but I would gather all your offers and present them all at once. You aren't likely to get them to budge with just the Iowa offer.
