Right, usually they wouldn't send out a large batch of JS1s and a large batch of JS2s on the same day. At most, I've seen like one person getting a JS1 amidst a wave of JS2s (in a previous cycle). And I can't imagine them doing the actual interviews on the same day as JS2s either.

Are all of this week's interviews (up to this Thursday) considered the first wave of JS1s? Or only if you received invite on 10/31 and 11/2. Good luck everyone waiting for JS1s and JS2s!

Again, it depends on who's doing the considering. I'm not sure there's a consensus on the definition of "wave" in this context.

What are the different kinds of waves they use? Is this more of a transverse wave or a longitudinal wave we're experiencing?

Just finished my interview with JS. She's really nice. My interview went really quick, no new questions out of the normal. If any specific questions, just pm me?

Had my JS1 today as well. Most of the interview focused on resume and personal statement related questions. Those 15 minutes go by really quickly!

I think possible, but low probability. Likely scenario is tomorrow they will discuss today's interviews and finalize the list of people to call on Monday. But I sure hope it's tomorrow...I just want to know one way or the other
