AHHH I'm so jealous! I sent in mid oct and have yet to hear anything. 3.9X, low 170s, and so far no UVA love.

Probably unique to your situation, so it is tough to give advice. If they are giving you an opportunity to talk yourself up, take advantage of it. Be confident

I got the same email yesterday. When I called back, he congratulated me and offered me admission.

EDIT: I would still, always, be prepared for an interview-type call. Before calling back, I pulled up my application so I could respond to Q's about my CV/PS.

It probably means you're in! When I called them there was no interview. They immediately told me that I was accepted and I just had a brief conversation.

Yeah, you're in. Got the same thing. No need to worry about an interview or preparing a verbal "Why UVA" or anything (although it couldn't hurt to reiterate how much you want to go to the school).
