For those admitted under RD, did you all write the Why Penn? I'm trying to get an idea of whether Penn is ditching YP the same way UVA seems to have!

In via phone call at 4:58 EST. RD. potential scholly applications to be in snail mail. ucr1 11/20 ucr2 12/1 submitted 9/4. wrote optional "why penn" essay as a response to prompt about the dean's mission.

Whoah... I just got accepted by phone (despite the fact that I am RD with a 25th-percentile LSAT).

This has definitely been a great way to start the weekend..... Now I just need to go see The Hobbit.

i haven't heard back. ugh. but it looks like the recent admits who have those dates sent their app in september or so. i didn't submit my app until november, so i'm not crazy worried.

Accepted today, same UR1/2 dates as the other acceptances, over both 75ths and no "Why Penn" so was expecting YP since I haven't heard back from UVA and UM and wrote Why essays for both of them. Law schools be whack.
