I don't know what it means but like an above poster said- the URM wave seemed to be comparatively very small

In the same boat. It does seem odd to me that there have been no reported KB1/JS1--WL--JS1 people at all on TLS but who knows. Unpredictable cycle. Does seem as if there were some JR1--Waitlist--JR2 people in 2010 so I suppose we can hold out some hope for something like that. Best of luck everyone!

you mean the URM trickle...JS might be doing things differently remember the 'URM wave' was a JR thing..she might break up the URMs and admit them gradually in the upcoming waves...but it does seem like they looked at people with only high GPAs this wave..as time progresses and as more people jump ship for Yale/Stanford...the structure of the waves might change

WOW!!! congrats guys!!! The admissions office is finally awake. Hopefully we all get JS2s whenever they come..I'm secretly praying for a JS1/JS2 combo but i know that's not gonna happen.

And to all those still waiting..don't give up...I'm sure your JS1s are coming soon.

Congrats to all those in the JS1 wave today! Are you all scheduled for Thursday? Maybe the first JS2 wave will be Friday then, although I'm definitely with dean on this one, because that would be awesome beyond words:

Any other relatively high LSAT applicants still out there? I feel super left behind after the wave today. :(

Yeah I'm a 3.9/173 with no JS1 this week.Had a KB1 5 months ago. Hold out hope! It's been a very unpredictable cycle here!

173/3.8x here. Looks like all my numbers twins got a JS1 today... I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through them!

Were any of the new JS1's K-JD's, or did everyone pretty much have full-time work experience?

I think this is a consideration. JS is definitely liking WL people with WE.

Dear Harvard Waitlist 2012,

As somebody stuck on several WLs below Harvard, I wish everybody here to do well and cause a massive trickle up effect as you all withdraw your spots and free up tons of money.

Love,

Every other law school applicant.

I'm crossing my fingers because I'm in that category (above 75th GPA, between 25th and median LSAT), but looking at the stats of the recent JS1's is making me lose hope.

Same, except below the 25th for LSAT and definitely lost hope after seeing the numbers of those getting the JS1s.

Congrats to all the new JS1s!!! I am especially happy for fingerscrossedxx, sharktankdean, cerealdan, doorkeeper, and curiouscat!! You guys have waited out this whole cycle with me. If only for that reason, your success is very well deserved.

Hope everything turns out well for you all :D
