it took more than 8 days to get your letter? Or did you not receive a letter?

I have a full tuition to Iowa and 75% tuition to Illinois. Would these compel Notre Dame to negotiate the $15k/year they gave me?

Iowa at full tuition will be hard to beat. Congrats!

For those who were admitted, did they post the seat deposit fees on your status checker once the decision was made?

No, they didn't. It's there now, but I'm not sure when it appeared.

Thanks, Green Glass Windows. My decision was made today. Pretty sure I was denied as this was a huge reach for me. Otherwise, strong Why ND.

Anyone else have decisions made today?

Does Notre Dame offer scholarships to those in the top 1/3 of their 1L year? If so, how much?

No, only 10K to people in the top 10% who didn't have scholarships before. It is extremely rare to have someone get in the top 10% who wasn't on any scholarships.

I had 75% to UofI and 18K to ND, and ND bumped me up to 20K...however I think ND bumps up a lot of people.

Really to which part haha, it's all true except for the last part is just my perception from talking to people in my class (2L).

Haha, well I guess I was just asking for more details about the last part. I'm seriously considering attending, so just trying to collect information.

I know quite a few people who were bumped from 18 to 20 or from 20 to 22.

What is the most that ND offers for a scholarship?

Yeah all it takes is a quick email. They originally told me that they didn't have any more money but then 3 weeks later they emailed back saying they'd increase their offer by 2K. I was probably going to attend ND the entire time (like my username indicates, I'm a Double Domer and didn't want to leave), but it helped to have some leverage.

PM me if you want to talk about your decision at all

Most I've heard is 22 or 24, but don't hold me to that.

Thank you. I was curious if they offered more than 30K .. This clears it up.

In via mail today. I checked the last few pages and couldn't find an answer... do scholarship offers come with the acceptance letter or at some point after?

I went complete again today,

Submitted 12/6, complete 12/7, then 1/18, and now 2/1.

Does this mean I will be getting a decision soon? I sure hope so, the wait is killing me!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
