Yes as long as your performance was fairly good you can transfer pretty easily.

i emailed asking about a scholarship but im not anticipating a response lol

edit: i got a response and they said they are just about out of funds

I also saw there is a scholarship reception on april 8th, correct me if I'm wrong, so I think most ppl who are being awarded something would have found out by now and within the next week. I'll make sure to buy my mega million tickets for friday.

I guess I was right then. Lots of people in this thread have numbers at or above the 75th but haven't received anything. I think it is true they don't award less than half tuition. In years past they did though and that's why I think we don't see as many people receiving schollys cause they're just awarding greater amounts to less people.

I wonder how many applicant's they're waitlisting this year....

Last year when I was waitlisted they told me the waitlist was more than 500 people. I'm assuming the same this year. Last year had almost no movement off the waitlist and those few pulled off it had real high numbers, so for those waitlisted I would suggest going with ur backup plan cause the chances of getting pulled off the waitlist is slim

I think last year was especially huge cause of the recession. I'd imagine more people applied to T3 schools last year in their hurry to just get in somewhere without adequately preparing for the LSAT/not applying on time. 500 is just way too many people for it to be the norm. I think I heard somewhere in this thread that attrition was unusually high this year at SW.

I just had a SCALE interview. And very likely yes. It's kind of an "offer I can't refuse" since I have connections in LA and the prospect of graduating with less than six figures in debt, especially in this economy, is too good to turn down. I still have quite a few apps pending, but unless they can do better than this, looks like I'll be starting SCALE this summer.

They haven't made a decision regarding your file yet? When did you apply...go complete?

Just got back from my visit at SW, handed in that paper and a new letter of rec. No beuno. I guess I'm going to be on the wait list for the part time program. I'm going to make a deposit to either Western State or Thomas Jefferson pretty soon. I wish I could've been apart of this school.

Why 'no bueno'? What did they say to you when you handed in a new PS and LOR?

One of them is advocating me. The others I guess aren't. Im really depressed, I love SW, and I wish I could be apart of the school. I don't drink and I gave up a lot of food for lent so im just gonna drown my sorrows in hours of video games.

Hey hang tough...this process isn't over. You could have been a denied and then all possibilities of going to SW in the fall would be completely lost. You have the option to wait out the waiting list.

I highly recommend Dragon Age 2.. In fact, Play Dragon Age 1, Awakening, All DLC's, and 2.. Take your time & unlock all the achievements. This will REALLY help the waiting

What I an wondering is why they called me in to break my heart? It took me almost 2 hours both ways to get there to be told I can't do SCALE and yesterday they told me i'll probably be on the WL for the PT. WTF? Why do I need to drive to you thinking its a SCALE interview but then I get my heart broken.

What questions did they ask you and how did you respond to them? Do you think you bombed the interview?
