I never updated to a January complete date. My first and only complete date was 12/2.

This makes me feel better, still sitting in Nov.

My completion date was moved from 12/21 to 1/11, but I communicated with them via E-mail right before then so maybe they just added that E-mail to my file.

Johann has made a point of reminding people that their email system sends out in batches. Last week people were getting acceptance emails after 5 pm.

Same here. Kind of a relief. I figured best case scenario would be a WL, and I'm glad to not have that uncertainty given my situation (married & my husband's job is in Ohio for the next 4 1/2 years). Now I can focus on getting scholarship money from the schools to which I've been accepted.

Complete 9/13 (I was a little over eager...).
25th LSAT, median GPA.
5 years w/e (3 V50 firm, 1 major bank with CPE, 1 Fortune 500 retailer).
Wrote Why NU in my PS + 1 additional essay.
Off-campus interview (okay, not amazing).

Rejected...hopefully (and likely?) due to the LSAT... my ego is too tied to the rest.

did anyone else submit a GMAT score, out of curiosity? I took the GMAT on a whim about a year earlier and ended up with a better GMAT than LSAT (presuming they're using relatively similar scales), so opted to submit the GMAT score, figuring that they would see the LSAT score on my LSAC report too...

Point being: I was thinking perhaps they're considering GMAT apps separately? I went complete 11/5 after my interview, then status changed on 12/9 but have heard nothing. Anyone else do that?

At first, there was an email, the title of which began with "Congratulations". And then a few hours later an official decision letter in a PDF format appeared in the status checker along with a notification email being sent that says the decision has been reached.

You find out right in the subject line of the e-mail. Although, it appears that you have to go to the status page to download your acceptance letter PDF to see whether you were accepted into any joint-degree programs (if you applied).

I received three different e-mails from NU over the course of the day. Exciting! Went complete 12/1 w/ on-campus interview and traditional LORs not CPE.
